This is one of the most amazing trips we’ve ever made. The reason for this statement is not only the breath-taking skyline of the city because there are many things that catch your attention immerdiately after landing in the Dubai Main Airport. The size of te airport gives visitors the first impression about what’s awaiting them in the mega city, then everything is overdimensioned in Dubai. We unfortunate had only one week to explore the world of the desert metropolis which was not a sufficient time span to see everything. Nevertheless, we could dicvover a whole lot of wonderful thing in the seven days we had available.
Dubai from above
From the 124th Flour of the famous Burj Khalifa, Dubai can be observed from a quite different angle. All Other mighty skyscrapers seem to dwarf down and lose a part of their mightiness.
Before the city can be seen from above, we had to ride the fastest elevetor in the world. A feeling not from our time, then we felt ourselves like in a science fiction movie about future technolgies. The cabine of the eleventor is leterally a multidimensional sceen displaying videos of Dubai from different corners. Unfortunately, this show lasted only one minute because it was, as already mentioned, the fastest elevetor in the world.

In the following section we are goiing to discover the cultural side of the mega city. Though Dubai doesn’t have long history, There are many cultural aspects that can be encoutered in the city. This is a fact that is basically related to the demographic diversity of the country. The cultural diversity is seen at every corner of Dubai, then 85% of its inhabitants are foreigners.
